Private Paradise,
Crafted for You

This is the story of
El Silencio

Nestled in Sian Ka'an's pristine wilderness where jungle meets Caribbean sea, El Silencio Village is a boutique eco-sanctuary designed for meaningful community gathering.

Born from a vision to celebrate all of life's moments - we've created space where conscious community naturally unfolds. Our village welcomes retreat leaders, artists, families, corporate teams, and individual travelers who appreciate exceptional hospitality and respect for the natural world.

Here, guests discover what it means to be truly cared for. Every experience is thoughtfully curated, from private chef services and spa rituals to kayaking through mangroves or exploring secret cenotes.

This is the philosophy of
El Silencio

We believe in the power of surprise, the importance of discretion, and the magic that happens when outstanding service meets untouched nature. Whether you come to lead, to learn, or simply to be, El Silencio offers the space, support, and sophisticated comfort to make your vision reality.

  • Yes. We host intimate weddings and life celebrations with a focus on ceremony, cuisine, and connection. Private buyouts only, ideal for 20 to 40 guests. • Treehouses, casitas, tents, and tower rooms, each uniquely designed with local, artisanal details. Most spaces can be reconfigured with queen, double, or twin setups for private or shared stays. We offer 12+ rooms and host about 20 to 40 guests depending on layout. Cooling: rooms have floor fans, cross-breezes, and screened windows. There is no A/C at this time due the limitations of our solar power system.

  • Yes. Families are welcome, especially for private buyouts and select dates. The setting is off-grid and nature-forward, with decks, water, and wildlife, so active supervision is required. Quiet hours apply, and spaces are not childproof. Tell us your group size and ages and we will advise room configurations and suitable activities.

  • Yes. We operate year-round. Peak season is November to February. Shoulder periods vary with weather and sea conditions. August to October is typically quieter. • Yes. We operate on a low-impact model: solar power, fans instead of A/C, water and waste reduction, and minimal single-use plastics. Materials and décor are local and artisanal. We compost when possible and partner with local providers. Guests follow simple respect guidelines for the land, wildlife, and community.

  • Yes. Wi-Fi is provided via Starlink across common areas and most rooms, suitable for email, calls, and light work. Phone service can be intermittent in Sian Ka’an, so plan to use Wi-Fi calling and apps like WhatsApp. Download large files in advance.

  • Yes, based on availability. Solo stays are offered on select dates when the property is not privately booked. Minimum nights may apply. Send your dates and we will confirm options.

  • Yes, in limited spots. We prioritize artists, musicians, wellness practitioners, and skilled helpers who add clear value. Typical support includes retreat production, setup and breakdown, garden and beach care, meal prep, and arts or wellness programming.

Exchanges are project-based and date-specific. A typical arrangement is about 5 hours per day plus a small weekly contribution to food. Shared lodging may be provided on select dates. Minimum stay usually 1 to 2 weeks.

To apply, share your skills, dates, portfolio or links, and two references. All participants follow our respect and safety guidelines.

  • Guests seeking a party scene, loud nightlife, or public attention. Those expecting ultra-luxury resort amenities or A/C in every room. Anyone unwilling to respect nature, quiet hours, and community guidelines. Large amplified events or productions that disturb the setting. Groups that won’t adapt to off-grid access, rustic roads, or simple logistics.

  • Complete the inquiry form with your dates, group size, room needs, and program focus. We will reply with availability, a draft layout, and a proposal. To hold dates, place a deposit and sign the agreement. This is a request process, not instant booking. Email us at: elsilenciosiankaan@gmail.com for any questions.
